Sugar, Scars & Stars started with a diagnosis and a search that came up empty.

When Ministy was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, she looked for awareness apparel that felt personal, powerful, and actually wearable. What she found was the same recycled ribbon shirt in the same limited colors—safe, generic, and disconnected from the people living the reality behind the diagnosis.

She came home frustrated. Then she started building something different.

Sugar, Scars & Stars makes graphic apparel and accessories for people who have survived something, stood for something, or refuse to shrink for anyone. Our pieces sit at the intersection of Sugar—the glam and the sparkle; Scars—the raw truth of what life can cost; and Stars—the recognition, visibility, and community we all deserve.

Our collections are rooted in specific stories and lived experiences. Wear the Change includes cause-forward apparel for MS, PTSD, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, and other communities as the collection grows. Pride Without Permission reframes zodiac signs as battle-tested identities for people who are done asking permission to be exactly who they are.

This is not generic awareness merch. It is wearable proof of a journey.
